February 2015 Lordstown Courier
The Planning & Zoning Office would like to remind residents that temporary signs may not be placed in the road right of way. This includes real estate signs, political signs and any other type of advertising signs. The road right of way is normally marked by the telephone poles.
Signs may not be placed on any utility poles or trees. This includes garage sale signs, party location signs and agricultural product signs.
The property owner must give permission to have a sign posted on their property. This applies to developed property and undeveloped property.
Signs found to be in violation will be removed or the property owner will be notified of the violation.
