Parks Department

 

The Lordstown Village Parks & Grounds Department is responsible for the maintenance and/or mowing of all Village properties including its parks, cemeteries and buildings. There are two parks within the Village that the Parks & Grounds Department maintains-Village Park and Central Park.

The 60-acre Village Park, located off Ohio Route 45, has four baseball fields, two soccer fields, two basketball courts, four tennis courts, four horseshoe pits, three volleyball courts, shuffleboard courts, a one-mile nature trail with exercise equipment, and two pavilions.

The pavilions can be reserved by Village residents for a $60 rental fee by calling the Administration Building at 330-824-2507. The two pavilions at the Village Park each has 10 picnic tables, which can accommodate 80-100 people. Central Park located and the corner of Tod Avenue and Salt Springs Road, near the Fire/Police Station, has one pavilion that accommodates 80 people.
