Early Childhood Programs

Preschool Storytime

Mondays at 1 p.m.: Oct. 2; Oct. 16, 23; Nov. 6 — 27

Preschool Storytime features stories, songs, and movement activities and reinforces the development of early literacy skills. For children ages 3 — 5. Free

Storytime Spooktacular!

Mon., Oct. 30 at 1 p.m.

Put on your costume and head to the library for a special Halloween Storytime. Stories, songs, crafts, and games for kids ages 3 — 5. Free

 

School-Age Programs

Monday FunDay!

Mon., Oct. 2 at 4:30 p.m.

Mon., Nov. 6 at 4:30 p.m.

Kids can crate, discover and experiment through science, art, stories and more! For Children in grades K – 6. Registration is required.

Read to SomeBunny

Mon., Oct. 23 between 4:30 — 6 p.m.

Cute, cuddly, and non-intimidating bunnies are perfect listeners! Children in grades 1 — 6 can sign up to read aloud to registered and certified Bunnies in Baskets (therapy rabbits) for 15-minute sessions. Rabbits are provided by F5RS (Frisky Ferrets, Fuzzies and Feathered Friends Rescue and Sanctuary). Registration is required. call 330-824-2094. Free

Monster Mash-Up

Mon., Oct. 16 at 5:30 p.m.

Make a monster or create a creature at this spooky event just for teens. Free.

Snack or Dare

Mon., Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m.

Eat a weird snack, or do the dare! Get ready to get silly.

Stop in and complete a word search to be entered in a drawing for a fall-themed prize.

Carry-Out Crafts

Monthly

Stop by the library and pick up a new craft kit each month (while supplies last). Kits include instructions and most items necessary to complete the craft; some additional supplies may be required.
